Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. Although she's an Ohioan but she didn't have a keen interest in markets and currencies during the time she was in college. She interned at ForexTV.com as an undergraduate at New York University. It is there that she garnered her first experience working in business news. She later earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Then, she took on an internship of four months at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After returning to the US and began to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. Eventually, she became a anchor on television. CNBC hired her as a correspondent in December 2013. She was anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch', and then landed the position on "Closing Bell in the year the year 2018. Eisen is also co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since the year 2014. She is among the most reputable journalist in business today. Since joining CNBC her main concern has been the global news for consumers.
