Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen's passion for acting was discovered at a very young age. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She was given the role on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her at an agency prior to when she turned 13; she then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. In addition to learning in private classes, she began her acting career around that time. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school, and she was awarded the part of Dorothy. Bell studied music theatre in the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 to take on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in is cut off and only the credits display her. Bell made an appearance on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
